Get Instant Replay →Instant Replay is a professional replay system that runs as a plugin for OBS Studio on Windows 10/11 and macOS. It captures clips from your OBS Replay Buffer, lets you control them with broadcast-grade tools - slow-motion from 0.1× to 2× at 1% precision, frame-by-frame stepping, queue, AI-powered highlight detection, ad inserts, and Stream Deck triggers - and sends them back to your live broadcast in milliseconds. Used by boxing promotions, MMA gyms, schools, esports tournaments, concerts, and corporate broadcasters in over 25 countries.
Smooth playback from 10% (0.1×) to 200% (2×) speed with 1% precision. Frame-by-frame at ±1 and ±10 frames at 30 fps. Every speed transition is buttery - no judder.
Trigger replays, change speeds, switch presets, send clips on-air - all from a single button press. Works with every Elgato model (Mini, MK.2, +, XL, Mobile) via Global Hotkeys (F13-F19 → action). No extra plugin install required.
Automatic highlight detection: feed it a long recording (a full fight card, a Sunday service, a basketball game) and get a list of clip moments worth replaying. Saves hours of manual scrubbing. Available on Windows and macOS.
Anyone running a live broadcast where instant replay matters. Eight common production scenarios:
Show the knockout from three angles in slow-motion before the ring announcer reads the cards.
Live events, broadcasts, multi-camera productions, and pro live shows.
Game-winning dunks, last-minute goals, controversial calls - review and replay them between plays.
Clutch round wins, fight-game combos, speedrun splits - frame-perfect replay is non-negotiable for competitive content.
Show every finisher in slow-motion. Build hype packages mid-show. Cover camera switches with replays.
Replay the encore from the front-row camera. Loop the crowd reaction. Cut between angles instantly.
Replay key keynote moments during the Q&A. Show product launches from multiple cameras. Loop the closing reel.
High-school football, basketball, volleyball broadcasts - give parents at home the same replay quality as ESPN.
The viewer above is the actual plugin - click any clip, change speeds, queue replays, trigger from the Stream Deck mockup. No install needed. Play with it before you decide.

The most common questions about Instant Replay and this demo.
It is a faithful in-browser simulation. Every panel - gallery, playback, AI editor, ads manager, settings, hidden clips - exists in the real plugin and behaves the same way. The video content is animated abstractly to keep this demo lightweight; in the real plugin, you see your actual OBS clips at full resolution.
To use the actual plugin: yes - OBS Studio 28 or newer on Windows 10/11 or macOS 12+. To use this in-browser demo: no, nothing to install. The plugin connects to OBS via WebSocket on port 4455 (default, auto-configured).
Yes. The full plugin runs natively on macOS 12 or newer, both Intel and Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3). Same UI, same workflow, same Stream Deck integration. The AI Video Editor is available on both - same workflow, same features.
The recommended way is Global Hotkeys, not HTTP. In Instant Replay, open Quick Settings → Global Hotkeys → + Add hotkey → press a function key (F13-F19 are safe, no system conflicts) → pick an action like play-pause, frame?d=1, speed-delta?d=5. In the Stream Deck app, drag System → Hotkey onto a button and bind the same key. Works system-wide, even when OBS is fullscreen. Mappings persist to %APPDATA%\InstantReplay\.hotkeys.json. The Ad Manager is the only feature that still uses HTTP, because each slot needs its own URL. Full reference: Stream Deck quickstart.
OBS's Replay Buffer can save a clip to disk - that's where it ends. Instant Replay picks up from there: a viewer that displays the saved clips, frame-by-frame playback, slow-motion at any speed, a playlist queue, AI highlight detection, Stream Deck triggers, ad inserts, and a one-button send-to-OBS path that puts the replay back on your live broadcast in milliseconds.
Yes - three ways. This live demo is free, browser-only, and requires nothing. The 14-day free trial of the actual plugin requires no credit card. And if you buy and decide it isn't for you within 30 days, we refund. Start from the pricing page.
Drop in a long recording - a full fight card, a 90-minute event, a complete basketball game - and the AI Video Editor finds the highlight-worthy moments automatically. Punches landed, goals scored, key transitions, dunks, knockouts. You get a clip list you can edit, reorder, and send to OBS. Saves hours of manual scrubbing. Included free with both the One-Time License and Membership. Available on Windows 10/11 and macOS 12+.
Yes. Both the One-Time License and Membership grant full commercial rights - paid broadcasts, sponsored streams, pay-per-view fights, ticketed events. Schools, non-profits and indie broadcasters use the same plans. No revenue caps, no per-stream fees, no hidden costs.
