Instant Replay ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our software and services.

We collect information that you provide directly to us:
- Account Information: When you purchase a license, we collect your name, email address, and payment information through our payment processor (Stripe).
- License Information: We collect hardware identifiers (encrypted hash) to validate your license on your authorized computer(s).
- Contact Information: When you contact us, we collect your name, email, and message content.
2. License Verification & Heartbeat
To validate software licenses and prevent unauthorized use, our software periodically communicates with our servers: at startup, every 5 minutes for license verification, and every 60 seconds for heartbeat signals while running.
DATA TRANSMITTED DURING LICENSE CHECKS
License key, encrypted machine ID hash (not actual serial numbers), computer hostname, local IP, public IP (for license management), platform (Windows/macOS), app version, uptime, and OBS connection status.
Note: We do NOT collect your browsing history, video content, file names, or any personal files from your computer.
3. How We Use Information
We use your information to:
- Process payments and manage your license
- Validate license authenticity and prevent piracy
- Send important software updates and security notices
- Respond to your support requests
- Improve our software and services
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Stripe: Payment processing (we never store credit card numbers)
- Cloudflare: CDN, DDoS protection, and SSL/TLS encryption
- Microsoft Clarity: Anonymous website analytics (no personally identifiable information)

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Inactive accounts and associated data are deleted after 2 years of inactivity.
